About Us
We, Kick and Jop, can’t remember a time when there wasn’t music playing in our home. With a father who played in various bands and ran a record store in the heart of Amersfoort during the 1980s, we were introduced to all kinds of music as kids and learned the basics of guitar and drumming.
After completing our music education, we decided to build our own music studio just outside of Utrecht, and continue pursuing our love for creating music.
Alongside work and study, we’ve taken part in various projects over the past few years, focusing on Rock, Soul, Pop, Blues Roots, and Americana.
About the Studio
In the summer of 2023, we made our dream come true by building our own studio inside an old cooling cell on a farm, where we have every opportunity to create music and achieve perfect sound recordings.
The vibe, the gear, the compact space, and the complete isolation from the outside world allow you to fully and calmy focus on your goal: creating the piece of music that you have envisioned .
We offer the option to work both analog and digital: using a 16-track tape machine, you can create recordings that take you back to the sixties and seventies. Or straight into the interface, to get a more cleaner sound.
How do you get to the studio? The studio is located in a beautiful and secluded spot, just outside Utrecht, between Odijk and Houten.
The address is Houtenseweg 8, Odijk. There is plenty of parking space if you come by car, or it’s a 10-minute bike ride from Houten station.
